Ken RoboldKen Robold, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Universal Music Nashville, draws upon years of experience in the music industry to oversee all of the label group’s sales, marketing, new media, financial, and production activities. Formerly Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer for the label group, Robold assumed additional responsibilities when he was promoted to General Manager in January 2004. Robold remains committed to empowering the artists and utilizing the very best people behind them.

Prior to joining Universal Music Nashville, Robold worked in a variety of capacities at Polygram Records, Polygram Group Distribuion and most recently, Mercury Records.
Robold is a graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and earned his MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the CMA and NARAS, and serves as a member on the boards of the ACM, Avenue Bank, and Leadership Music, where he is the current board President.
