Founded in 1989 by 12 music industry executives and inspired by Leadership Nashville, Leadership Music proudly includes over 1,400 alums in all areas of the music industry. In addition to the annual 8-month program, Leadership Music engages its alums throughout the year with ongoing educational sessions, social mixers, the Dale Franklin Awards, and volunteering within the community.

Leadership Music, a national program based in Nashville, is designed to create a forum in which music industry leaders can learn about all segments of the music business, explore current issues affecting the industry, and enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences while building lasting relationships with their classmates.
