Leadership Music and SOLID Partner for Inagural Music Row Litter Walk

‍ ‍

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 29, 2026) Leadership Music and SOLID came together on Friday (June 26) for the inaugural Music Row Litter Walk, a community beautification initiative that united volunteers from both organizations to clean up one of Nashville's most iconic neighborhoods. Despite sweltering heat and humidity, participants showed up in force, with 15 teams — each pairing one volunteer from Leadership Music with one from SOLID — fanning out to cover Music Row and the surrounding streets.

By the end of the morning, volunteers had collected an impressive 30 large bags of trash, making a visible and meaningful impact on the appearance and cleanliness of the historic district.

The event kicked off with remarks from JD Lane, Executive Director of the Metro Beautification & Environment Commission at the Nashville Department of Transportation & Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT). NDOT also played a key role in the event's success, generously supplying all necessary cleanup equipment and materials so that volunteers could get straight to work.

The partnership between Leadership Music and SOLID reflects a growing commitment among Nashville's music and professional communities to invest not just in the industry, but in the city itself. Organizers hope the Music Row Litter Walk will become an annual tradition, inspiring other organizations to follow suit.
